NARACES is Thrilled to Welcome Dr. Tiphanie Gonzalez as Our 2026 Conference Keynote Speaker!

We are honored to announce that Dr. Tiphanie Gonzalez, NCC, will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2026 NARACES Conference, “Advancing the Profession: Innovation, Advocacy, and Excellence in Mental Health Counseling,” September 24–27 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Dr. Gonzalez is an Associate Professor of Mental Health Counseling in the Counseling and Psychological Services department at SUNY Oswego, where she also earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees. She holds a doctorate in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. Her career spans training as a School Counselor, Mental Health Counselor, and College Counselor, giving her a rich, cross-setting perspective on how the counseling role — and our advocacy for clients across intersectional identities — shifts and holds steady across contexts.

A deeply engaged leader in the field, Dr. Gonzalez currently serves as Past-President of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) and has held presidential and secretarial roles with ACA-NY and the National Association of Holmes Scholar Alumni (NAHSA). She is also an active member of ACA, ACES, NARACES, and Chi Sigma Iota.

We can’t wait for our members to learn from her insight and experience this September. Join us in Manchester!
