2018 – Burlington, VT

NARACES 2018 Regional Conference

Enhancing Pedagogy, Supervision, and Scholarship through Innovation and Technology

Greetings NARACES:

It was wonderful to see all of you in Burlington Vermont! We had over 200 conference presentations and 336 conference attendees. The 336 conference attendees symbolizes something very promising in that it is 103 attendees more than our past most heavily attended conference. This is even more remarkable given the fact that Burlington Vermont is not a centrally located city.

The success of our conference is partly a reflection of our amazing 2018 Conference Committee (see the below picture).  A big “thank you” goes out to the following individuals: Meredith Drew, Michele Hinkle, Dawn Horton, Ryan Aquilina, Mike Mariska, Ashley Luedke, Michele Rivas, Vaibhavee Agaskar, Kara Ieva, Amanda Minor, Derek Seward, Kevin Duquette, Peitao Zhu, Sherritta Hughes, Eric Perry, Megan Krell, Jennifer Beebe, Kristine Augustyniak, Jelane Kennedy, Danica Hays, and Holly Branthoover.

We had beautiful weather throughout the conference.  The DoubleTree Conference Center Staff were reliable and extremely helpful.  Truly, I can’t say enough nice things about the Burlington DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center.

Eric Perry, NARACES 2018 Technology Chair, has made Danica Hays’s Keynote Address available on the following link: https://youtu.be/AyrqTJ2QSfk.

Thank you to everyone who helped out and/or attended NARACES 2018.  I hope to see you in New Orleans for ACA 2019.

Sincerely,

Stephen Flynn
